Background
Le Roi Cafe is a much-loved local gem nestled in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Mentone, perfectly positioned just opposite Mentone Station. Since opening in 2002, the cafe has become known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and an all-day breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu packed with favourites like smashed avo, Turkish eggs, and burgers, and offering refreshing drinks like matcha and soda.
Loved by locals and praised for having some of the best coffee in the area, Le Roi’s growing popularity recently saw them expand with a second location in Glen Iris.
The Brief
In 2013, Le Roi Cafe was looking for a better way to reward its loyal regulars and encourage repeat visits.
With a busy café environment and a growing customer base, they wanted to adopt a modern loyalty solution that was fast, reliable, and easy to use.
That’s when they teamed up with Stamp Me to launch a seamless digital coffee loyalty program that makes every visit count.

Loyalty Program Works
Their offer is easy to understand: receive a free coffee after the 9th stamp,
Customers join by downloading the Stamp Me app or scanning their Join Code in-store. Once they reach 9 stamps, a free coffee reward is automatically issued in the Stamp Me app for them to use on a coffee of their choice on their next in-store visit.
Stamping Method
Le Roi Cafe uses the StampPod™ for fast, contactless stamping at the point of sale. Customers simply press ‘Stamp Me’ in the Stamp Me app and tap their phone on the StampPod to earn a stamp, keeping service quick and queues moving smoothly during busy breakfast and lunch periods.
