Step-by-Step: Setting Up Your Loyalty Card Inside Stamp Me

Setting up your first loyalty card takes less than half an hour. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Create your account
    • Go to the Stamp Me website and click Get Started.
    • Enter your personal and business details.
    • No credit card required to get started.
  2. Build your Stamp Card
    • After signing up, you’ll be directed to your Merchant Console.
    • Complete the welcome survey (this gives us more insight into what your loyalty goals are), then click Create Stamp Card.
  3. Customize your card and set your terms
    • Name your card and your offer details.
      1. “Buy 6 coffees, get 1 free!” 
      2. “Collect 3 stamps, earn a free treatment!”
      3. “Collect 6 stamps, get a 20% off voucher!”
    • Add your logo, card name, program terms and conditions, and a review link.
    • You also have the option to add a stamp icon, which brings a bit of personality to your card.
  4. Set your reward(s)
    • Define what customers earn after collecting stamps (e.g., free coffee).
    • Optionally include interim rewards or sign up rewards to boost engagement.
  5. Enter business location(s)
    • Add one or more physical addresses for your Stamp Card.
  6. Review & finish
    • Review your setup and make edits as needed.
    • Choose a plan, enter payment info (trial won’t charge), then click Start Trial.

Once done, your card will move from DraftReady to PublishPublished. 

How to Publish Your Loyalty Card

You’ve got 30 full days on the free trial once your loyalty card is created which is plenty of time to launch, tweak, and promote at your own pace. Stamp Me is designed for speed and flexibility, so you don’t need to rush.

After Publishing Your Card:

  1. Head to your Stamp Methods area in your Merchant Console to order your primary stamp method like our StampPod™ or StampTag
    • Your Temporary Stamp Code will be emailed to you so you can test your card and make any of the necessary changes. It also serves as your temporary stamp method while you wait for your primary to arrive.
  2. Download any promo assets from the Resources section.

Promoting Your Loyalty Program

To ensure strong uptake, here’s how to promote it effectively:

Use Your Join Code

Every Stamp Card has a unique Join Code, usually in QR form by default. 

  • When scanned by a phone camera, the Join Code directs users to download the app.
  • When scanned inside the app, it directly joins the member to your card.

In-Store Promotion Tips

  • Posters: Display near point-of-sale, entrance, restrooms, or waiting areas
  • Stickers: Use on takeaway bags, display cases, cash registers
  • Join Cards: Small printed instructions with your Join Code which are ideal for receipts or bags

Online & Social Media Promotion

  • Announce your loyalty card via Instagram, Facebook, and email
  • Use captions like: “Earn 8 stamps, get a free coffee! Join via the Stamp Me app — search us or scan this code!”
  • Use social media scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite) to maintain visibility
  • Create contests or giveaways to boost joins (e.g. “First 20 members get a bonus stamp!”)

  • Go to Dashboard > filter by card, location, or date
  • Toggle between Stamps and Redemptions to view activity
  • Search individual members by name, phone, or email
  • Export all activity as a CSV file for reporting
