Barbetta is an Italian cafe and restaurant in the heart of Paddington, NSW, founded by the Cipri brothers in 2018. Rooted in family, tradition, and a genuine love for authentic Italian food and culture, Barbetta has built a loyal following in the local community through great coffee, warm hospitality, and the kind of neighbourhood familiarity that keeps people coming back.

The Cipri family's connection to Sydney's food scene runs deep; their extended family has been a staple of the city's hospitality landscape for over 45 years. Barbetta brings that same dedication to their cafe offering, serving the Paddington community seven days a week.

The Brief

Barbetta wanted a loyalty solution that felt as warm and personal as the cafe itself. 

In March 2021, they partnered with Stamp Me to do exactly that. With a strong base of daily regulars and a community-driven approach to hospitality, they were looking for a digital program that would reward their most loyal coffee drinkers, encourage repeat visits, and give them meaningful ways to stay connected with their customers between visits.

 Loyalty Program Works

Barbetta's loyalty program is built around a straightforward coffee reward: buy 9 coffees and get the 10th free. Members receive one stamp for every coffee purchase, plus a free coffee on sign-up to get them started straight away.

Barbetta uses the StampPod™ for fast, contactless stamping at the point of sale. Customers simply press 'Stamp Me' in the Stamp Me app and hold the back of their phone over the pod to collect their stamp. A vibration and ping confirm it's gone through — quick, seamless, and perfect for a busy cafe environment.

Stamping Method

Barbetta dedicates a page on their website to the rewards program, making it easy for customers to learn about the offer and download the Stamp Me app. 

The page clearly explains how the program works and includes a direct App Store download link, driving sign-ups both in-venue and beyond.
